How to change your payment method

Purchased from us (browser extension, or the Mac app from our site)

1. Sign in at matetranslate.com/account and open Subscription.
2. Click Update payment details. A secure Paddle page opens.
3. Enter the new card or switch to PayPal, and save.

The same button is in the extension under Settings › Pro & Sync › Change payment method.

Purchased through the App Store

Apple charges the payment method on your Apple ID. Change it in Settings › your name › Payment & Shipping on iPhone, or in the App Store on Mac under your account settings. Mate has no access to it.

A payment failed

Paddle retries a failed payment a few times over about a week and emails you each time. Update the card as above and the next retry goes through. If the subscription was already cancelled for non-payment, subscribe again from the extension or your account page; your account, History and Phrasebook are untouched.
