Delete your Mate account and data

You can delete your account and everything stored with it yourself. It's permanent.

Before you delete

• Cancel your subscription first. Deleting the account doesn't cancel a subscription. See How to cancel your Mate subscription.
• Export what you want to keep. Synced History and Phrasebook are erased with the account. The browser extension can export them as CSV (Pro).

Delete the account

1. Sign in at matetranslate.com/account.
2. Open Settings and scroll to Delete account.
3. Click Delete my account and confirm with Yes, delete everything.

Your account, synced History and Phrasebook are removed from our servers immediately. Data stored locally in the apps stays on your devices until you delete the apps.

Delete only the synced data

If you want to keep the account but wipe what's on our servers: in the browser extension, open Settings › More and click erase all my data. Local data isn't affected.

Lifetime access

Deleting an account with lifetime Pro deletes the lifetime access with it. We can't restore it afterwards.
